About Us

Welcome! My name is Brian Welter. I am the host and producer of Shattering the Darkness Audio Devotional podcast. I am a father of two. My daughter is 17 and my son is 21. Outside of my relationship with Christ they are most important in my life. I work full time. I own a home in the country where I've built my own recording studio overlooking the wooded country side and meadow on 7 acres in Eastern Washington. Being out in the country in a quiet secluded space is a great place to do ministry and reflect on God's word. I took up podcasting as a hobby several years ago and enjoyed it so much I decided to combine that with my interest in building websites. Being a Christian I thought what better way to combine my hobbies with my faith and make it a ministry. I also do a show with a friend of mine call Spiritual Investigators. We still do the show but I wanted to do something different and more of a prayer and devotional type podcast. My goal is to help and encourage God's people through reading scripture, devotionals, Bible study and commentary and sharing peoples testimonies. In this modern age downloading a podcast or streaming audio is the cutting edge of technology and I believe It can be an amazing tool to encourage God's people and to further the cause of Christ.
